Welcome back after Easter. We hope everyone enjoyed the holiday, particularly the lovely weather during the final week.

Today the children are taking home questionnaires for parents as part of our upcoming Whole School Evaluation (WSE). We would appreciate it if you could fill them and return them to the school before the end of the week.

We are working on a school calendar for the final term at the moment with dates of upcoming events. We hope to send it to you in the next week. In the meanwhile, we would like to mention a few important dates coming up before the end of this month.

April 16th: The Girls’ football team are playing Aughavas NS in Aughavas at 6: 30*

April 20th: The Boys’ football team are playing Leitrim NS in Drumshanbo.*

*We have sent home a copy of the fixture list with all players but please be aware that matches are subject to change be cause of weather, availibility of pitches etc.

April 30th: Concert in school involving pupils in 4th & 5th class taking part in the National Children’s Choir.

By the way – sincere thanks to all the children who sang in the choir on Holy Thursday. It was great to see such a full turnout – not surprising then that they sounded so good. We will not be singing again until Confirmation on May 22nd.

Also well done to those who represented the school at the fashion show on March 27th – the Scór teams. They were very much appreciated by the organisers and, of course, the audience on the night.
