This has been a very busy start to the new year. We had a visit from Padraig who delivered the Marine Life Programme from the Galway Aquarium. We learned about different species living under the water, the importance of coral reefs and how we can help look after our oceans. We received a project book based on Squid and are very excited about dissecting one in the near future (well most of us anyway!)

We learned about parallel and simple circuits in electricity, looked at Pop Artists such as Andy Warhol and made an average of 70 St. Brigids Crosses. Inspired by our Ocean theme we made 3D sea animals using clay and will paint them when they are dry.
