6th class have very kindly decided to donate some of their Confirmation money to a charity. They have chosen to donate to Crumlin Children’s Hospital (www.childrenshealth.ie). Today, we had a zoom with Laura from the charity where she told them what the charity do and how their money might be used. She told us that they are currently using donations to fund new equipment (a new machine that can see inside a heart), play therapy, pet therapy and for research. The class were delighted to hear how their money will help sick children. We are looking forward to finding out how much we have raised at the end of the week.
