Happy New Year to all in our school community; athbhliain faoi mahise daoibh go léir.  We hope you all had a happy Christmas. Welcome back to all the boys and girls .

We have added a new page to our school blog. It is a page for school forms. From now on, any forms/permission slips/book lists etc. which we are sending home will be published on that page, so that you can download a copy if you need to.

Today we have put the forms and information regarding the new Primary Online Database, on that page. You will receive a hard copy of the information on Tuesday, January 6th.

What a great week we’ve had as we prepare for Christmas. It all started on Sunday night when our choir, as well as fourth and fifth class took part in the carol service. Everyone said that it was really great. We helped to raise over €2500 for the Northwest hospice.

On Monday Junior and Senior infants put on their plays for us. Junior infants did Whoopsadaisy Angel. Senior infants did Nativity. Both plays were excellent. Congratulations to all the boys and girls and thank you to their teachers.

On Tuesday, third to sixth class travelled to the pantomime, Peter Pan. We really enjoyed it. Peter Pan actually flew and so did lots of the cast. We all learned a new dance – even the teachers.

Sixth class class did their play ‘A Peace Child’ on Thursday. We all thought it was brilliant and very funny. The costumes were excellent too. Well done to the whole class and to Mrs. McLoughlin.

We are looking forward now to our Christmas holidays and to Santa!

Merry Christmas everyone.
